Omar Yunes’ Business Acumen Ignites the Business Sector

The highly contested 2015 edition of the BFW with 34 representatives from France, Italy, and Portugal among many others was characterized by in-depth analysis and performance measurement. Omar Yunes of Sushi Itto emerged best. While responding to the award, he stated that he felt proud but quickly acknowledges the joint participation with 400 employees under him in the 13 units of Sushi Itto. Omar was the representative, but the award was corporate. He praised the company for providing an accommodating environment for innovation and what Omar Yunes knows.


Benjamin Cancelmo, the CEO of Sushi Itto credited their hospitality, blended flavor and quality service delivery for the prize. The event’s organizer, Diego Elizarrarras reveal the underlying measurements were; the franchising – franchisee relationship, implementation of control boards and management of information. Sushi Itto due to his ability to develop a good network, successful implementation of unique models and business structures, knowledge of franchise business and providing a good workplace environment – inspiring.


Ivan Tamer, another high-performing Mexican franchise of the Prendamex Company, came in second. The Mexican Chapter’s watchdogs were the Entrepreneurs of the Sector, the Mexican Franchisee Association, and Universidad Anahuac. It was surely a good season for the Mexicans.
