Sheldon Lavin is the Acting Chairman and CEO of the OSI Group, a livelihood company. The OSI Group is a group of few organizations, including OSI International Foods, OSI Industries and OSI International. Under the leadership of Mr Sheldon Lavin, the OSI Group has developed into an industry pioneer with a presence in more than 16 countries.
Shockingly enough, Mr Lavin’s job in the food business was not predetermined when he searched for funds and accounting degrees and entered the retained money and backs segment as a consultant. Sheldon’s Nutrition section began in 1970, when Mr Otto and his two children advised him to enable them to raise reserves for their business after obtaining an agreement to deliver cheeseburgers to McDonald. During this time, he was offered the opportunity to be an accomplice to the company, which he refused and selected as a budget consultant for Otto and Sons. In 1975, Sheldon Lavin turned out to be more in demand, as the companies were decided after the decision to dismiss one of the accomplices after the departure of Otto von Otto and his sons. In this way, the name of Otto and Sohn was repealed and the organization evolved into the OSI group.
Mr Lavin is a more active pioneer with contributions in every area of the organization. He cultivates a family work culture that guarantees his more than 20,000 employees a low representative turnover. Under Sheldon’s skilful hands, the OSI Group has evolved from being a lonely McDonald supplier to becoming a global leader in some countries including Australia, North America, Europe, South Africa, Japan, India and the Philippines. Also, Sheldon Lavin has expanded the OSI Group’s accomplishments with organizations such as Baho Food and Flagship Europe.
Under the leadership of Sheldon Lavin, the OSI Group has received universal recognition for its astounding execution in the industry. The OSI Group has been awarded the Globe of Honor Award for its natural nutrition from the British Safety Council. Also, the California Green Business Fellowship and additional honours for the welfare of living beings from China, Europe and the US have been agreed.
Sheldon Lavin won the most coveted Global Visionary Award award from the Indian Vision World Academy and wanted to see business visionaries overcome their goals through careful work and safety.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities with the OSI Group, Mr Lavin is a dynamic donor who has performed altruistic roles with associations such as United Negro College, the Jewish United Fund, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Inner City Foundation.
